Sorry for the length of this question lol.

I'm at the last assassination, killing robert de sable. First of all I saw that the city Arsuf is closer to Arce than any other city. So first of all I went then (then exited into Kingdom so I was close by) When I came to it it was blocked off (blue memory wall thing)

I noticed I had several view points missing from around kingdom, so I went after those, well, all of them except one, which was miles away and not near where I wanted to be, or near anywhere in fact.

So I return, heading towards Arce (the long way round this time) then branch off to Arsuf when I see it's close by. (different route)

I get through, and in fact get in. (scenery changes to cold, map changes, target is on map etc) I walk past the cliff, see the hundreds of people walking past with horses and carts etc, and the guards running over the bridge over head.

I go along for a bit, can't exactly remember where, but since this map is pretty much a straight line I can only really go forwards or back.

Anyway, spotted, so running, reach another blue wall, run back, reach a blockade and a checkpoint, ditch the horse, more guards, run over it and past them, barely out and there's a second blue wall.

Letting them kill me won't help, because I'm at a check point; so I just end up back where I was. But in quite a short space I just run from blue wall, over check point, to blue wall. With rocks either side of me (believe me I've looked for a way out)

What happened? Was I meant to do something earlier in the game to break down these barriers? (I admit I have cut corners) Or did I somehow get past one of the blue walls and am now stuck?


Either way, if this is a glitch my game is over, I can't see anyway out of this one, I'm about halfway through Asurf, where you are meant to ditch the horse and go by foot; and now this has happened.

Please can anyone help? If not, could anyone at least tell me how I should have broken down those blue barriers?

The blue barriers go away with all the viewpoints, I think? Can you exit the animus and start from an earlier memory block to perhaps fix this? Also, you might want to patch the game, if you haven't already. You can get to assassins creed patches from google and by going onto the official Ubisoft website. Good luck with your game.

If that doesn't work than try making a stand and kill the guards until you're anonymous. Countering is your best friend - that a timing.
