My ideal AC2
Okay, here's what I want.
The game should start with you as an assassin on the island that is mentioned in the writing on the wall. You start by walking around the city to check it out, and when you want you go to the assassins bureau. Your master tells you the awful news. One of your own on the other side of the world has betrayed the assassins by using the piece of Eden to hypnotize people (Altair!) You are told to kill all his accomplices that are rumored to be coming to your land. The man starts to say, " I believe his name was... (suspenseful pause) Altair"... You then flash back to being Desmond. You wake up to the face of a stranger. "Come on, we gotta go" he tells you as you slowly stand up. You are running out of the building when Lucy joins you. You hear the screams and shouts of that professor guy as you keep running. You think you're free when you run into two guards. The assassin throws you a pistol (your only weapon for now) and the guards are an easy kill.
That's just the opening sequence. The game itself should involve a day/night cycle, different side missions, more interaction with citizens, and detailed indoor environments. (Of course I could list much more.) The new assassin has been chosen due to his mental strength. The big twist is that your last target is Altair himself. As Desmond you mostly use a hidden blade, (that doesn't need to change), a pistol, and your bare hands to perform stealth assassinations. And a not so big surprise is that your final assassination as Desmond is that doctor guy.
So, that's about it, any thoughts?
