Im sure by now people should be familiar with the updated 'CryEngine 2' for the massively anticipated game by Crytek, Crysis and if your not and are a first person shooter fan then what are you waiting for? Go and check this game out now...

Well good news is that Crytek have allowed other developers the rights to use the license, so not only will Crysis use the 'CryEngine 2' but we will be able to see what other developers can do with it in their games too which should be very interesting as its one of the most advanced GFX/Physics engines to date.

Nice.

I never even heard of Crysis though. Seeing as how it's a first person shooter, than that would explain it. The only FPS I liked was Doom 3... ah, the memories.

I don't think I'll like it too much, but just imagine the possibilities of that new engine though.

Like Doom 3 with the enemies after the squads and humans are dealt with im sure if its going to be anything like their previous title Far Cry but with best GFX a game has ever seen to date, much better physics and HUGE environments with some of best AI in any game ever. Right now it looks like Far Cry on steroids.

Also as you say with that engine up for license for anyone to use the possibilities are endless!

Yeah, since anyone can use it there's probably going to be some badass games coming out in the future!

Got that right as its the most advanced engine to date, hopefully some console game makers snap it up also for people without high spec PC's.

Yeah it was quite the secretive gem for a while but is now shaping up to be one of the best looking games ever made with one of the most advanced engines in a game to date. Ive been following its progress for quite some time.

Oh dont worry about that i will be doing so, its also one of first games to use DirectX 10 for PC (just to add that)
