What do you do for a living?

I don't do anything for a living...

I am a student, majoring in Anthropology and Social and Political Thought... but I don't make a living off it...
I make my living off the government... they send me cheques and I cash them...
pimpin' aint easy....

Nah, I run and co-run websites, oddly enough, and the Government sends me money for having a child...sometimes Google sends us money too, if they are feeling generous enough

I'm virtually unemployable anyway, what with not being able to sit for more than an hour or stand for more than 15 minutes at a time

Update - I'm now a sort of librarian. I buy and catalogue books to be uploaded to the internet and then downloaded onto special reading machines by blind and partially sighted children.

I'm also a counsellor.

I have two jobs one is doing Reports off a UniData Database which will hopefully branch into more interesting work. The other is computer repair and support at Bestbuy which is fun.

To me, a job would involve payment. I don't get paid for the work that I do, so it's more voluntary than anything else. But I enjoy it and it helps people - much more rewarding for me than sitting in an office or on a factory line. I'm not in it for the money - I'm in it for the people

Plus, like I said, I'm virtually unemployable anyway

I'm an IT consultant working for a firm based in London, England. I say 'based' because my job takes me all over the place on projects.

I was a poor student no so long ago (I'm 23

) so I know the pain of full time education all too well!

Stick at it, IT jobs are quite hard to come by elsewhere in England.
