ok on this page at the end it has the animus triangle on the left hand side of the screen, when u click it a menu comes out and it says "error, bla bla bla and says u need a camera to continue, im pretty sure that means a webcam... .which i dont have, will some1 who DOES have a webcam please try to figure this thing out PLEASE

OMG i found ANOTHER revelation that they hid in this teaser... Damn these guys kno how to make a good easter egg hunt, HAHAHA its almost easter too lol.

ok what i found is when you click that weird symbol in the middle of the screen at the end of the teaser it opens up a PDF file which seems to only have a picture of that symbol on it but what i found is at the bottom left corner there is some small writing, which i blew up about a thousand times to see but this is what it says

TO LOAD CORRESPONDING MEMORY FRAGMENT:
1. PRINT ARTIFACT SYMBOL
2. LOCATE WELL LIT WORK AREA
3. ACTIVATE LOCAL WEBCAM
4. INITIATE VIRTUAL INTERFACE
5. DERTERMINE MATCHING PARTITION

well it realy sucks that i dont have a webcam because it seems like im the first person to find this thing so far... well ill print out the pdf anyways im sure theres something hidden on it, so ill probably make another post in a few minutes after i have another epiphany

ok well i didnt have an epiphany but i kind of figured it out what you need to do without actualy doing it,

what you do is print out the PDF, then the webcam interface has you use the printed symbol to activate a REAL teaser trailer.

i figured this out because next to the first listing on the animus menu it has the symbol your supposed to print out and the other listing dont have any symbols yet, just circles with X's in them.

the symbols keep getting referred to as Artifact symbols... so i geuss AC2 is going to be all about finding multiple artifacts

God Damn i love how deep they're making this

oh and i read somewhere that near the end of the trailer on the link in the first post. it has at the top some words written backwards and when they're flipped it says "Game Informer 4/16/09" so i geuss we'll find out something big in the magazine on that date

Pointed my webcam at the pdf on the screen instead of printing it as i dont have a printer on this PC but it scans the symbol and unlocks this:



Im guessing you will have to do the same with other symbols on the other sections at some point too and unlock more. Very clever idea indeed and smart marketing, im impressed.

well you have to enter the "virtual interface" on the teaser site, then yes you point the webcam at the symbol and it unlocks the picture that drakan posted above

i like the new blade's styel but its really short in comparison with the one altair uses, this one doesnt look like it could make it all the way through someones head like you see altair do on multiple occasions.... but i geuss it doesnt need to go all the way through, just deep enough to hit the main organs


WAIT A SECOND HE HAS ALL OF HIS FINGERS, so i geuss the missing finger thing is just like a gang sign they use now, like i mentioned in a different thread

yea they've confirmed it takes place in the 15th century during Leonardo de Vinci's time

sweet.... i was also thinking about about how the arm wasn't missing a finger,and i'm thinking that they might had to of change their traditions since they were bening basically hunted by the templars, so instead of making the blade so long the asssassins had to remove a finger. so by making the blade shorter would'nt have to cut it off, thus creating a new more stealthier killer. and not having a ring finger kinda makes it obvious to people that might be looking for them.......just some thoughts

Well as they would have been around for quite some time and became quite infamous by then im sure people were wary of those with missing ring fingers. So maybe the ritual was removed to further help them remain anonymous.

Well, I've looked into this as far as i could and when I saw the teaser trailer... i was like- wheres the GAMEPLAY!!! All it consisted of was depictions of Leonard DaVinci's works Tthat were related to the game. Not that im not excited cuz' I am!!!!

Btw, I totally with Outlaw-Bha, Lucy has assassin written all over her... Its obvious, I mean, why would she have leaked information to you if she wasn't an assassin? I mean besides showing sympathy mind you...

well its not just that, but after desmond wakes up from kiling al-mualim and after the talk with the CEO guys deswmond uses eagle vision and if u look at lucy u'll see that she's lit up in blue, which means she is an ally
