First of all,

I'm new to this forum so, hey.

ok, here's my problem.

I've just bought the game for PC, I've done the easy bits first, the eavesdropping, pickpocket and interrogating.
Now I've been sent to Damascus, but as soon as I enter The Kingdom, my graphic's freak and everywhere I look, I see these huge yellowish cardboardlike blocks, makes it totally impossible to play the game, I've seen others who had this problem, and according to some people it was a problem with the leaked version of the game, but mine's a completely new retail version.
I've updated my drivers and directx, nothing helps.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Windows XP Pro.

Intel Core2 duo 1.8gz (yes I know its abit under the recommended, shouldnt mess with the graphics though.

ATI RADEON X1650 512mb with newest drivers.

2DDR2 RAM.

The only thing I havent messed with is the post-fx function, since I have no idea what it does.
I'm starting to get kinda anxious, I've loved the game so far, and I'd be quite annoyed if I cant continue it

Also is your card AGP or PCI-Express?

Tried to see if you can turn some of the GFX options down and such and see if that has any effect?

almost everything is on pretty low settings, I've tried tweaking it in every way possible, nothing helps. I'm fairly certain its a shader issue, no idea what though.

Is it just Assassins Creed you have the problems with then?

You also got Pixel Shader Ver 3.0 and Video HW Transform & Lighting?
