I was wondering if anyone has any information about a symbol that is in the AC2 trailer. I really like but don't know the meaning behind it.

TBH, it just looks like a stylized version of the First game's symbol:

AC1's Symbol

I'd say they're trying to give it a sort of italian taste.

Also, take a close look at Ezio's belt, it's featured there too. ;3

That's what I was thinking just more fixed style to fit the theme of AC2

it could be a symbol of da vinci's because the symbol was shown in a trailer which was da vinci's ideas

I dunno, I think its more symbolic of the Assassin's organization, rather than Da Vinci or any of his ideas.

As Dego said, its more than likely themed for AC2.

ya I noticed it was an althered Assassins symbol from AC1 and saw it on Ezio's belt I just thought it might have had some kind of of historical background to it.
